Roadschooling
We love to travel and I like to find ideas for the future. Do you know what roadschooling is? If not check out the FOTR link.
Disney Homeschool Programs
This is a list of activities covering a wide range of subjects for those who plan on going to the Disney Parks. They also host Homeschool Days which has been a huge hit in the past. I know the FOTR (Families On The Road - many are roadschoolers) go to it.
Family On Bikes
This is a blog about a homeschooling family. The great thing about this site is the amount of information on roadschooling and why and how to do it. The resource page is great!
Families On The Road
This is a support group for families who live on the road full-time or part-time. Many families will decide to take homeschooling on the road and travel around to many interesting places. I've even read about a family who biked from Alaska to the bottom of South America and one who decided to travel all over Europe together. Most though, get a trailer and travel around the U.S. and sometimes up into Canada. It's taking education out of the classroom in a HUGE way!
United Planet Mission Trips
This is a Secular Missions Group to set up trips to places around the world where help is needed. They also send the travelers on special sight-seeing trips.
Vegabond Family
This is a site with many articles and a ton of information on traveling with your family.
Vegabond Family - Roadschooling Highschool
This is a great article about roadschooling for highschool.
